I was wondering if we could set up a day where we had several hours in helegrod, I shall now attempt to create a list of things to consider;

1. There is the problem that it is a MASSIVE instance in that we need 24 people to do it, I have heard of people do it with 18 and there was that kin that killed thorog with 12 but 24 would be the best idea.

2. It takes a long time to do, but completing all the quests in there practically puts you at kindred status with the elves of rivendell and ...

As i've now reached rank 6 and have led many successful (and unsuccessful as elthur has witnessed ) raids in the ettenmoors I had an idea, well I had it ages ago and as Erlo is trying it for the whole server i thought i'd try it for our kin.

I thought maybe that next thursday as many of us as is possible could go into the ettenmoors in the afternoon (starting at 1700 for a bit of fun then moving on to tactics, terminology and other important lessons at 1830). I thought ...

We will have small ones and usually it won't be too much trouble if one has to be afk for some time. So all people able to come are most welcome to join us. For example, tonight (Friday 4 April) is East Angmar night. So if you have any East Angmar quests in your log, why not join Amdor and others and get them finally ...

I will be seeking to form a Fellowship to assault Fornost tonight at 2130hrs GMT. Please send me a tell if you would like to participate. We will meet at the Free Peoples Camp in the outer part of Fornost. If I haven't got a full group by 2215hrs, I will abandon the attempt and set up another one for later.

The Epic Book Quests

I see that there is a big need of Book quest organization now and maybe in the future too. I feel now that our kinship should organize it nicely for not-so-hard-core-players. Prologues are easy with one high level helper, book 1 is same too, but then I don't know. Because I am middle of it!

Because I am the lowest level officer in our kinship but not youngest, it is almost my duty to organize books. So I do my best. But I hope some our 50's are ready to help with their extra time.

I suggest (lvl35 now) that because lvl 50's have own fun, also mid- and low levels should have it too. And what is the most important quest chain for them? Books of course. So our kinship could organise Books instance/group quests for them who are missing it. Maybe with help of one or two high level experienced players. Helpers have not to be 50, I think levels 40-45 goes fine. There is already one of them at a separate thread, feel free join and suggest more. Book 1 had at least one group quest ...

Having had a read through the other posts in this section it looks like Raiding is a *lot* of fun, and I can't wait to join in with it, but I have some questions and concerns, and would like to ask our glorious leaders and other level 50's to take some time out to explain 'Raiding' as a concept to those of us who've never done it before.

From my understanding it appears as though several fellowships (four?) can get together to perform some pretty large scale quests, but I'm not entirely ...

I've been camping out with the Free Peoples at the edge of Fornost for some time now, and I've managed to get into a couple of fellowships to tackle some of the many, many fellowship quests that lie within the crumbling walls of that forbidding place...

....but success comes only in short bursts, and often at the expense of inexperienced fellowship members (who insist on ignoring FM tactics, or go rushing ahead with no thought for other members of the party!)

So, now I turn to my Kindred ...

This may appear a bit crude in some ways but lets try find out what days suit us best as a kin to raid. I'm hoping that more days are good than bad so I'm going to make the Poll negative. So please cast you vote for when DOESN'T suit you to raid, you should be able to select multiple days if thats the case. So what are you waiting for....get voting.
