Book 13 - release on Roheryn

The preview server Roheryn gets the Book 13 patch today, so assuming the usual 2 week delay before roll out to the live servers, we will hopefully get the patch during the last week of the month!

Lots to see and do in Book 13, although still waiting for the detailed release notes, the overview looks very promising. I'm probably going to try out the Fishing for a while and then take a look at the new creep class 'defiler' before exploring Forochel, but I'm also keen to see what the new rep armour sets etc are like.

Yes, the Book 13 looks really promising and it fills the small gap left for the mid 40 levels quest wise, i think. Also the other additions are interesting in my opinion and can't wait to test the fishing! Hope they are able to continue as planned and release it in this month too. Wonder if they have some nice rewards in the new epic book quest line too.

No idea if there are critical versions of these... or if there are level 47 variations, but stats wise they look very promising... just have hope the rep is fairly easy to gain with decent repeatable rep questing.

Do you guys have any info that what's with all this Finnish language in the game? I know Tolkien took a lot of influences from Finnish lore and language, but somehow the amount of Finnish language in da game has been a surprise to me. (ajokoira = hunting dog, leijona = lion, mammutti = mammoth)

About Finnish in LOTRO. I believe that there is Finnish programmers or Finnish game houses involved in LOTRO. Tolkien wrote his books before Mauno and Kekkonen.

About fishing. What shall we do with all fish? In WoW You can cook fish and eat it then, or use it e.q. potion making. So if it is similar in LOTRO too, then there must be new recipes also to learn.
